Outfield can either be a very deep position or a very shallow one depending on what your league format and settings look like. In a standard Yahoo league, there are typically 12 teams with three outfielders per team. Once you factor in utility spots and bench bats, let’s call it about 45 rostered outfielders there. If you play on the NFBC site, then you are (likely) playing in a 15-team league that requires five outfielders in the starting lineup. All told, you are looking at about 90 outfielders rostered in those formats, which makes it that much more important to secure at least 2-3 decent ones before the pickings get too slim.
Always be sure you know exactly how your league works before you enter the draft room to make sure you aren’t over or undervaluing the names below because 12-teams vs 15, or three outfielders vs five can turn a good pick into an awful one, and vice versa.
Good luck drafting! I hope you all have great seasons.
